So I did see the movie. And let me tell you... it was pretty amazing! For the most part, I loved the movie and every thing about it. I loved the casting and all of the characters, they are for them most part exactly how I pictured them in the book, and so much more.
I wasn't expecting Carlisle to be as handsome as he was. I expected him to be good looking, but older than he was. I knew he was going to be young, but I wasn't expecting the young.
The only part I didn't really like was when they edited a lot out of the book from the movie. I know you can't fit every single detail in a book into a movie, but I think they could've made it a little longer, maybe adding in a few more details here and there. I felt like the whole movie was going by so fast. After like 20 minutes I was thinking to myself, "Wow, we're to this part already?". It was probably because I was completely entranced in the whole movie, sitting with my hands under my butt, refusing to hold hands with my boyfriend in fear it might take away from the wonderment known as Edward Cullen.
I'm hoping to see this movie again, because this time I will hopefully be able to concentrate more on the story line, rather than just aimlessly gazing at Robert Pattinson on the big screen. In my opinion, Pattinson was the perfect choice to play Edward Cullen. He has the same facial features I pictured, with the sculpted jawline and cheekbones, and the dark hair. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with that opinion, and I think he's absolutely perfect for the part. I think Kristen Stewart was a good choice for Bella, but she wasn't exactly who I pictured in my head while I was reading the Twilight series. I pictured Bella to be more normal, not as rail-thin Stewart is. I also pictured someone with a girly-er voice, one not as low as Kristen.
Anyone agree?
